The deck gives you another route to playable cards. You may pass through it many times, which makes patience and timing important. A card that is not useful on one pass may become important after you reveal a different tableau card or open a King space.
Controls and Auto-Move Options
Use the game field to move cards between the tableau and foundations. Double-clicking a card sends it to its available place, while double-clicking or right-clicking the game field moves all currently available cards into place. These shortcuts are helpful near the end of a run when the foundations are ready to accept several cards quickly.
Tips for Better Klondike Solitaire Runs
- Prioritize hidden cards. Moves that uncover face-down tableau cards usually create the most new options.
- Use empty piles carefully. Since only Kings or King-led sequences can fill an empty tableau pile, try to open those spaces when you have a useful King move ready.
- Do not rush every foundation move. Foundations win the game, but some cards may still be needed to organize alternating-color tableau sequences.
- Cycle the deck with a plan. Because you can pass through the deck many times, watch for cards that become useful after the tableau changes.
